This home was first built in the 1960s by renown mid-century architect John August Reed. The client wanted the home restored and customized to their lifestyle without visually disrupting the original design.

Working from archival photos and drawings, our approach restored the original character and essential structure. Collaborating closely with skilled craftsmen, all interior and exterior elements were designed. Pine wood siding was proposed to maintain the home's coastal identity and bring warmth to the exterior. Custom furnishings were designed and built to the space.

The intended vision is a cohesive and contemporary space that still retains the key features of Reed's design.
