Iman brings over fifteen years experience in architecture across internationally recognized firms NADAAA (Boston), SOM (Chicago), and Horst Architects (Laguna Beach). He has led award-winning custom single-family residential projects across a wide range of scales and budgets with focus on complex site conditions and coastal zone requirements.

A licensed architect in California, Iman guides the studio's vision and its commitment to thoughtful designs, celebrating the client's requirements through playful interactions with the space.

Co-Founder, Managing Principal

For a decade, Brody has provided project management and advisory services for commercial & residential. He became specialized in identifying high priority client needs and ensuring they were addressed in the project - sometimes directly overseeing or hands-on where custom fabrication was needed. 

As Managing Principal, Brody brings continuity to the project from design through construction. During the design phase he manages timeline and coordination between BRIM, the client, and consultants. During the construction phase, he's streamlining and strengthening communication, and ensuring the intended design is maintained  - bridging the gap that can form between architects and contractors. Across the project, his prior technical experience allows him to work closely with fabricators and craftsmen to achieve specific designs.
